Insulating medium suitable for use in voltage transformers, electrical systems and switches, whose operations take place in an oil bath. Attributes Insulating oils have important properties, such as fluidity, purity and stability, obtained through the selection of base oils and improved refining methods.

The Shell Diala Insulating range represents a range of high-performance transformer oils. These oils protect your equipment and ensure efficient operation. They include biodegradable, gas-to-liquid (GTL) technology-based and high-voltage products with excellent oxidation and low-temperature performance. These oils are formulated to provide excellent heat transfer and dielectric properties, even at very low start-up temperatures, for both transformer and power plant applications.
